Heritage Pro with Variable Output and Timer built in. Very similar to the
Heritage Whisper . This is a very compact model, and instead of the nebulizer attaching to the motor via tubing, it is secured directly on the motor. The motor is not silent, but it is quieter than typical nebuilzing motors; the noise level depends somewhat on how high the diffuser output is adjusted. This is a great diffuser. It will cover a very large room (1500-1800 square feet), and if used in a smaller room, you just turn down the output. The fairly quiet motor creates 4.5 PSI and has a variable control air supply. As a point of reference, if you turn the output to maximum and run it for an hour, it will use about 3 mls of an essential oil like Orange or Lemon, which are light oils that are consumed more quickly than others. We typically run ours on medium low for 8 hours nightly with the cycle on for 5 minutes and off for 20 or so minutes, and a 15 ml bottle of Respiratory Relief will last about a week. Included two (2) quick-change atomizer attachments.

WHY DIFFUSE?
Other than simply inhaling the oils, the easiest and simplest way of putting essential oils into the air for inhalation is to use an aromatic diffuser. A cold air diffuser uses room-temperature air to blow the oil up through a nebulizer. This breaks the oils up into a micro-fine mist that is then dispersed into the air. The oils, with their oxygenating molecules, will then remain suspended for several hours to freshen and improve the quality of the air. The anti-viral, antibacterial and antiseptic properties of the oils kill bacteria and help reduce fungus and mold. Essential oils, when diffused, have been found to reduce the amount of airborne chemicals and metallics. Many essential oils, such as Lemongrass, Lemon, our blends of Purify, Citrus Blessing, and Plague Defense are highly antibacterial and are extremely effective for eliminating and destroying airborne germs and bacteria.
Unlike candles or aroma lamps, cold-air diffusers disperse oils without heating or burning, which can render the oil therapeutically less beneficial and possibly create toxic compounds. Burned oils may become carcinogenic. Research (from Essential Oil Desk Reference by Essential Science Publishing, Third Edition) shows that cold air diffusing certain oils may:
• Reduce and/or eliminate bacteria, fungus, mold and unpleasant odors
• Improve concentration, alertness, and mental clarity
• Relax the mind and body, relieve tension and clear the mind
• Stimulate neurotransmitters
• Stimulate secretion of endorphins
• Stimulate growth hormone production and receptivity
• Digest petrochemicals on the receptor sites
• Improve the secretion of IgA antibodies that fight candida
• Improve digestive function
• Improve hormonal balance
• Relieve headaches
• Dispel odors
Cinnamon bark, Oregano, and the oils found in our Plague Defense blend were all tested by Weber State University and shown to kill 100% of the airborne bacteria present when diffused into the atmosphere.
Cleaning Instructions
Heritage Diffuser nebulizers have been carefully engineered for easy cleaning and operating simplicity. We believe that are perhaps the most "easy to clean" system on the market.
Very important:
Diffuse only quality oils , some fragrance oils have been diluted with a carrier oil. Our diffusers are designed for pure essential oils. Carrier oils are too thick and will clog the units. There are some pure essential oils that are thick and resinous by nature, so running a thin oil like lemon, or mixing a thinner oil with the thicker oils will keep these units from getting clogged.
If your diffuser does get clogged or begins to run sluggishly, then a quick clean will fix the problem.
How to clean:
If the units is not completely clogged you can put a little rubbing alcohol in an empty essential oil bottle and diffuse for a couple of minutes in a closed room (do not breath the vapor). If the unit is too clogged to push the air through, then a deep clean will be required.
1. Remove the atomizer attachment from its base. The oil clogs develop in the attachment piece.
2. Once the attachment has been removed, remove its essential oil bottle, but do not try to remove the straw-like device.
3. Immerse the atomizer attachment in alcohol. A mason jar works great, you can use rubbing alcohol, vodka or ever-clear. Let the atomizer attachment remain completely immersed in alcohol for some time depending on the thickness of the oil buildup or resin. Ten minutes may be enough, but overnight may be better. This will clean the oil resin buildup and will not harm the diffuser.
4. Rinse in warm water and let dry.
5. Once dry, reconnect it to the essential oil bottle and diffuse. Be sure it's completely dry. You don't want water in your essential oils.
