Do you have a printed catalog?

We don't have a catalog at this time. We do have a PDF file that can be downloaded, saved to your computer and printed as desired. We update this periodically throughout the year. Click here for HEO Price Guide.

Can I place an order without registering for an account?

Everyone who orders needs to create an account and agree to our Terms and Conditions. The email address you provide will be your username for future orders and will never be provided to other companies. We respect your privacy! This will allow you to access your order history, saved address, and other account features upon future visits to Heritage Essential Oils.

Do you sell gift certificates?

Heritage Essential Oils does sell gift certificates. Use the link in the navigation bar on the left of your computer screen. The gift certificate will be emailed to your friend. If this doesn't work well for you, send us an email, and we'll get the information and mail a physical gift certificate to your friend for you, or to you if that is preferred.

I'd like to send your products as a gift. Can you include a gift note for me?

Yes, we are happy to include a note with a gift. When you complete your order, use the Comment field to state what you'd like for your greeting or note to say, and we'll include it for you.

Do you have a store I can visit?

Yes. We have a small General Store near our home near Waco, TX. Email or call us for directions.

How do I know your products are 100% pure, natural, and free of chemicals and pesticides?

In order for essential oils to have a therapeutic effect we believe they must be pure plant extracts. The best way to assure the purity of each batch of oil is by testing the oil with Gas Chromatography/ Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS). At Heritage Essential Oils every batch of oil purchased from a distiller or distributor is tested with GC/MS. We only buy from distillers and distributors who farm ethically and sell oils extracted from plants that have not been sprayed or treated with any chemicals and have been distilled with health in mind, not aroma.

Are your oils certified?

We have decided not to pursue certification at this time. However, we test each batch of oil and only purchase oils that go above and beyond what any certification requires. Certification is a costly and unnecessary expense that we would have to pass on to the customer. Since our customers are like our friends, they have a trust in our integrity to only provide exceptional, premium grade oils.

Are your oils organic?

All of Heritage Essential Oils's essential oils are either certified organic, wild crafted, or unsprayed. All of the essential oils we sell are free of chemicals, herbicides, and pesticides. This supports the vitality of the soil, the plant and therefore the essential oil itself.

Will you wholesale your products?

Linda initially started blending essential oils in an effort to provide the highest quality oils for our family and friends. This circle of friends has grown over the years as that first circle of immediate family members and friends told their family and friends, and so on, but the goal has stayed the same: to provide the highest quality oils for the lowest possible price. We didn't get into this as a business opportunity nor was it born out of any need for income. The little profit worked into the prices enabled us to increase inventory and broaden the amount of oils and products we carry.

All that to say, our prices are as low as we can go. We have been asked about selling wholesale many times, and although we can't lower our prices, we have been able to work out solutions to help people accomplish their goals. We have health food stores, doctors, massage therapists, chiropractors and so on who resell our oils/products. If you purchase the oils in quantity (meaning more than a few at time), you can effectively get the shipping down to $0.50/bottle (or less), whereas your client, if he/she purchased from us directly, would pay, at the very least, $6.75 for a single bottle of oil (postage + insurance). The more bottles you purchase at time, the more you save since you are effectively buying down the postage amount.

A general example of postage cost:
42 bottles, insured for $500, shipped UPS ground, cost a customer recently $18.43 (sent to a business address). This calculates out to less than $0.44 per bottle.

What kind of bottles do the oils come in?

2ml, 5ml, 15ml and 30ml bottles typically come in amber glass bottles with a dropper orifice, which means that the essential oil comes out in drops.
If you purchase a spray, it will come in an amber glass bottle with a spray top.
Some blends come with a rubber bulb and glass pipette.
Larger sizes such as 2oz, 4oz and 8oz bottles are pourable and purchased to refill smaller bottles.

What forms of payment do you take?

Discover, Mastercard,Visa and PayPal. Through PayPal you can use your PayPal account or American Express, Discover, eChecks, Visa, and Mastercard. We also, in some cases accept Checks. If you would like to send a Check, simply send us an email from the contact page and explain your situation.

Can I pay by check?

Payments are through Credit card and PayPal unless prior arrangements are made. If you would like to send a Check, simply send us an email from the contact page and explain your situation.

Can I pay over the phone or by mail?

All web store payments are made through the website. If you wish to email your order and call us with your credit card number, please send us an email and let us know.

When will my order be processed?

Orders are typically processed within hours of receiving the order, and if placed by 6 p.m., they are usually mailed the next business day about noon. Because your order is processed so quickly, please make sure your order is correct before sending it. If you need to add something to the order, contact us as soon as possible via email, and we will let you know if we are able to add it to the order.

What if I want to make changes to my order after I have placed it?

We will do our best to accommodate you if the order has not been packed and/or shipped. If your order has already been packed and you wish to add on, the addition may need to be considered a new order.

Do you accommodate group orders?

Yes. If you and a friend (or a group of friends) would like to place an order to be shipped in the same box to save postage, one person will need to place the order and pay for it.

How are your oils packaged?

We import the oils from distillers in large containers, and then we pour them into smaller amber-colored glass bottles. These colored glass bottles protect the oil from light. The oils are packed lovingly by hand and wrapped in bubble wrap to prevent breakage. We then re-use all the "peanuts" we receive when ordering supplies to safely pack and ship your oils.

What are your shipping charges based on?

Our shipping charges are based on the weight of your order, and where it is being shipped. We use the United States Postal Service Priority Mail for domestic shipping. The insurance cost is based on the value of the package.

Do you ship Internationally?

We ship internationally using the United States Postal Service Priority Mail International. Shipping charges are based on the weight of your order, and where it is being shipped. What if I can't find the country I want to ship to in the drop-down menu?

If you do not see the country you want to ship to in the drop-down menu, we do not offer International Shipping to that country due to the regulations of the United States Postal Service.

You don't offer the products I'm looking for, what should I do?

Please contact us with any special requests. We are happy to custom blend upon request, and we are often able to import oils for special orders. 

What is your return policy?

All essential oils purchased through Heritage Essential Oils are non-refundable. We do offer small, sample sizes of most oils/blends so they can be sampled before investing in larger bottles. If you receive a defective product or the wrong item, please contact us immediately to arrange return. We offer a 15-day money back guarantee on defective items in their original packaging. Returns must be received by Heritage Essential Oils within 20 days of the original order to qualify for this guarantee.
